Initial charges can take 4-5 hours, and should be done before first use of the mug. After the mug is fully charged, charging time will vary based upon battery depletion level, but is on average around one hour.
Yes, you can safely keep the mug on its coaster.
We recommend turning off your mug for long-term storage or traveling. Press and hold the power button until the battery level indicator is no longer lit up.
Quick press the power button on the side of the mug to change the temperature. You will see the LED icon light up on the front of the mug. Thermacup will remember your last setting between uses.
The mug smart senses liquid to turn on and off. If the mug is on and receives liquid, it will identify that it should heat to the proper temperature. Inversely, if the mug no longer has liquid in it or the battery level depletes, it will automatically put itself into stand-by.
Your mug comes with a disposable band on the rim of the mug. This is meant to protect the rim while in transit. Please go ahead and throw this out before use.
